Corps Impact

During the 2008-09 school year, nearly 50 corps members are directly impacting the lives of 3,000 in Indianapolis. Brittany Langdon and Andy Seibert are two examples of the tremendous difference our corps members are making.

Brittany Langdon (Indianapolis Corps '08)
Undergraduate Institution: University of Kentucky
Major: Journalism and Political Science

Andy Seibert (Indianapolis Corps '08)
Undergraduate Institution: Butler University
Major: Political Science

As first-year corps members, Brittany Langdon and Andy Seibert are dedicated to providing an excellent education to all of their students. Brittany, who served as student body vice president at the University of Kentucky, currently teaches middle school reading at New Horizons School. While student body president of Butler University, Andy led college students to help children affected by the achievement gap, which ultimately compelled him to apply to the corps. He currently teaches fifth, sixth, and seventh grade English at Howe Community High School. Corps members like Brittany and Andy are working relentlessly in 15 schools across Indianapolis to give all students the academic opportunities they deserve.
