Our 12,000 alumni are a leadership force - working from within education and from every sector to effect fundamental change.

Alumni impact in New England

While Teach For America does not currently place in Boston, some 500 alumni* have made Massachusetts their home, bringing their commitment to social justice and working at the forefront of educational reform. An additional 250 live and work in other New England states (about 130 in Connecticut, with the rest roughly evenly split among Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont)

*Statistics about our alumni change rapidly as former corps members move to expand their impact by taking on new leadership opportunities, and as our alumni force as a whole expands every year. As a result, all statistics on this page are accurate as of November 3, 2007.
